Captain of the Ghana Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan is alleged to have slapped a worker of the Alisa Hotel in Accra following a banter between the two.
According to an Ultimate FM report, the incident happened when the Ghana Black Stars team were checking in at the hotel ahead of Thursday’s 2017 AFCON qualifier game with Mozambique.

According to reports, the victim had reminded the Asamoah Gyan to abide by a new security arrangement of the hotel, and the football star failed to cooperate resulting in the hotel staff verbally abusing Gyan. It is gathered that the Black Stars striker has since apologised to the hotel staff and authorities.

This is not the first time Asamoah has been engaged in physical assault. It will be recalled in some few years ago, the all time highest Ghana scorer slapped a fan of the Black Stars at LindaDor, a restaurant off the Accra – Kumasi main road.
